Approximately 200,000 people in the Las Vegas metropolitian area are without medical insurance. Another 250,000 people are under-insured and unable to pay the high cost associated with health care.

Many of these people do not realize the importance of early detection and treatment of medical problems. Even fewer understand that preventive health screening is available to them without a doctor's referral or that these services may be available at no cost to them and their family members.

Welcome to the Lions HealthFirst Foundation. Our goal is simple enough. We provide a public service by offering community outreach, education, and preventive health screening. We help people become aware of undetected health problems. And we encourage them to seek the care of family physicians.
